Testimonials

Elizabeth BDaughter-in-law of Resident

My father-in-law, with advanced Alzheimers, needed care in January 2022. There were no places at our preferred home Oriel Lodge close to his family home. In May a place became available and with the help of the manager and a carer he was accepted. This carer went out of her way in her own time to collect from a previous home with his care needs/lifestyle requirements.

First my Sister seems happy and well cared for. We went to the homes barbecue on Saturday 6-8-22 and we were well looked after and all the clients seemed to enjoy the day and had smiles on their faces plus some of the staff gave up some of their own time to help out. Well done all the staff

Shelley HDaughter of Resident

My mother has been in Oriel Lodge for 5 years now. She settled in well and feel secure there. The staff are wonderful and caring and treat all the residents with compassion. We attended ther summer family barbeque last weekend. to was well attended by families and staff and was a lovely happy day. We are very grateful that our mother is so well looked after.

Mark TSon of Resident

Staff have always been welcoming and show dedicated support to my mum and all the other residents. The atmosphere is always friendly when I visit, and my mum appears to have settled in well now after an initial period of wanting to go home.

Rosemary RDaughter of Resident

Staff most helpful and seem very caring. Nice to know Mum being cared for and her needs, medical care good, and frequently checked.Occupational therapy would be appreciated as very little activity takes place. Need more active movement while seated, and limbs moving and circulation.Communication with staff and contemporaries would be good, although staff very busy. Overall very good.

Catherine EFriend of Resident

Ever since my friend arrived in May, the staff have done everything to make her feel settled, and they show nothing but care and respect. Trying to make sure that her life is as happy as possible.
